It doesn't need electricity in the traditional sense. It's propane-powered and runs on just 2 "D" cell batteries (not included) for the ignition system and digital display, making it perfect for camping, RVs, remote cabins.
Why is the water heater and pump inside wet?
Because we will test the unit by connecting the water supply and power supply for a few minutes before it leaves the factory. So it may have residual water on the unit or the pump, but it does not affect use.
Is it easy to adjust the temperature?
Yes, It has a digital display that makes temperature adjustments straightforward and intuitive. it's easy to dial in your desired temperature, though some note the controls respond quickly—so be gentle to avoid overshooting to very hot temperatures.
Does it need professional installation?
It comes with clear instructions and attaches easily to a propane tank and can be installed without professional help. Great for camping, RV, or portable outdoor use.
What type of batteries does it use?
The propane tankless water heater uses two D-cell batteries to power the electronic ignition system. The batteries are required but not included, it's a propane-powered unit, so it runs on standard 20 lb propane tanks rather than electricity.
