- CONTROLLED LOAD HANDLING: A ratchet-and-pawl drive works with a mechanical load brake. Both hooks swivel 360° and use safety latches; keep the load centered in each hook bowl.
- COMPACT FOR TIGHT AREAS: The body measures about 3.9 x 3.1 x 2.6 in (10 x 8 x 6.5 cm), with 9.8 in (25 cm) minimum headroom and 6.09 lb (2.762 kg) net weight. A carry pouch is included.

Each manual lever hoist has a 10 ft (3 m) maximum lift and a G80 alloy steel load chain for controlled lifting, lowering, pulling, tensioning, and positioning.
The lever handle rotates 360° clockwise or counterclockwise. Select UP to raise or pull and DOWN to lower or release. Use FREE only while the chain hoist is unloaded, then select UP or DOWN before applying a load. Minimum headroom is 9.8, 11.8, or 13.8 in by capacity.
When choosing a manual chain come along hoist, compare the complete load with the rated capacity: 550, 1100, or 1650 lb. Minimum headroom is 9.8, 11.8, or 13.8 in; hook openings are 0.79 in on the 550/1100 lb models and 0.98 in on the 1650 lb model. Never exceed rated capacity.

When can FREE mode be used on the lever hoist?
Use FREE only while the hoist is unloaded to position the chain. Before handling a load, select UP or DOWN and confirm the G80 load chain is straight, untwisted, and properly seated in the chain wheel.

What should be checked before using the manual chain hoist?
Inspect the load chain, hooks, safety latches, selector, fasteners, and brake. Stop if the chain binds, travel is uneven, a latch does not close, or any part is bent, cracked, loose, or excessively worn.
Can this lever hoist tow vehicles, secure cargo, or lift people?
No. Do not use this lever chain hoist for vehicle towing or recovery, as a transport tie-down, or for lifting people. Do not side-load or tip-load either hook, suspend loads over people, or leave a suspended load unattended.
